Question Front Floor Mats under Carpet Anchor Points.

Are these all there underneath the carpets or do some cars need to have them drilled?

Be nice to have a certain answer to save the chore of carefully lifting the carpets.

Be careful if you have to drill in case there are cables under the carpet.

I think I'm safe in saying you don't need to drill these, the holes are only in the carpet and padding underneath and can be made (if necessary) by using an awl to pierce the top layer and then screwing in the anchor point.
