Question Possibilities of a Club Group Buy opportunity.

I decided to get another L-Shaped Hose for my other ZT-T 1.8T which I plan to put back on the road come the warmer weather. So popped down to nearby FORGE Motorsport in Gloucester. Soon had another.

I enquired about the possibility of using an OE 1.8T Top Hose as pattern to tool up for a limited production run of a silicone equivalent. It was far less than I expected. Initially about £200 to produce the tool and depending on the size of the design, price for a minimum 20 off would be up to £20 each. Probably about 2/3rds that for the Top 1.8T hose.

So mention this to see what others here think. Should there be sufficient interest in say the 1.8T Top Hose, I would be prepared to finance the project after taking a holding deposit for some of the small batch. Any unsold would sell eventually.

Looks nice but one thing to consider, is the silicone pipe OAT resistant?
Because OAT attacks normal silicone pipes.

That top hose from XPart is £58 plus vat. I had to buy one and only got it at that price thanks to College Motors.
Looks like a good deal especially if more owners buy up the first batch and reduce the cost even more.

I'd be happy with the Blue, but Yellow would be nice for ole Yella.
