Removed a spot of bird muck from the bonnet.
...then a quick wash and wipe of the whole bonnet. And wax. The noticed dirt down the sides....sooooo a quick wash down, and dry. Then a quick buff...before the other half noticed me out with the car yet again |

Left it for a couple of days and it seems to have worked. Hopefully will last.

Fitted my pre project drive carpeted heater panels today - 10 minute job and you can barely notice them, but once you know all the stuff that project drive deleted, you have to install them all!

I've put most of the PPD bits back on my Mk2 ZT, I've just got the carpet to change over to a Mk1. I had the misfortune to find I had a sunroof leak, so I've got to remove the interior anyway to change it.

Invest in some dynamat sound deadening sheets while the carpet is out, I fitted this for a member when we changed his carpet, it made the world of difference.

I've had many Vredestein tyres over the years and have always been very happy. I have Ultrac Vortis on the front of my ZT-T and have found them hard to beat. Good price and great performance, win win!

Not today, but yesterday actually. Stripped this off and after a bit of prodding and poking, it was a lot lighter than it first looked!!!
With the new one for the other side as comparison!!! Hopefully, the replacements will last another 20 years as they have far more paint and preservatives than the originals!

Yesterday I finally got Kims new rear spring fitted.
My main problem was the damper bolt. I had to invest in a more powerful Milwaukie impact driver. It worked but was very expensive. So today I took her back to the garage to be mot'd and all faults fixed (new copper brake pipes, tightening handbrake shoes cos one of the caliper bolts is now rounded and I can't get it off, and the airbag warning light has started coming on again. Grrrr, thought I'd fixed that.) Waiting for a call to let me know when it's all done.
