Default Headliner Cloth.

Intend to replace the sagging headliner cloth in a ZT saloon V8 (no sunroof),I have managed to remove the shell and removed all the aftermath of the glue/foam deposit.I have asked for and recieved samples from the recommended known suppliers ie Martrim and Woolies and unfortuantly the samples are not a good match at all, does any member know of any other supplier who may be able to match the OEM smokestone cloth as used by MGR, I think the original headliners may have been manufactured by Gruppo Antolin of Leamington Spa,but doubt any requests made would be probably be snubbed particulary for a "one off" piece of cloth.Hope some member may be able to help or assist.

Thanks Paul

might not help but over here in australia a company called home upholsterer has a foam backed velour which matches perfectly to the beige sandstone and one that matches smokestone as well.Used them both and looks oem.
Think they may ship overseas.

The match I got from Martrim was perfect when I read trimmed my Zircon.

I actually ordered too much and have sufficient to do a saloon if you’re interested.

So you have a product code for it or a receipt. Would handy to order something the same match.

Sorry I don’t have anything now as when I sold the car everything went with it.

I still have my spreadsheet on the PC with the price.

I got samples from three sources before deciding on Martrim’s sample, then when ordering I added a few metres onto the length so that I would have some spare as I wanted to re trim the front A posts as well.

When trimming I found that the width of the cloth was sufficient to cover the entire car length of the car so I was left with even more cloth as spare.

Thanks for the replies, but having recieved samples as pointed out in my original post they are nowhere near a match,I really would like them to blend in, only option now is to recover the A B and C posts....more work!.
