Unhappy rear interior light, NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-

Just cruising along as normal and the rear interior light just dropped from the roof. Had a look later and all the clips seem fine so just pushed it back into position and all seemed fine. 100meters further down the road and it popped out again.
Any body any clues on this or is it just old age and a bit of sticky stuff required?

Thanks everyone.

Gunner

The lugs on it have probably broken off. If you can find them then a bit of glue should sort it, but if you can't then you have to be a bit more enterprising and make something up.

Mine came away from the window at the mounting lugs. Araldite applied and held in position with masking tape until it went off. Fixed lamp base back onto lugs. Been fine ever since.

Mine did this the other week.

Not had chance to have a look at it yet.
Just randomly fell out!

Mine did this - just went overnight while the car was sat on the drive...

My lugs had broken, glueing them work briefly but fell out again - in the end I bought some Sugru mouldable glue and moulded new lugs around the old bits, left to set and has been fine for some time now.
