Replaced a couple of faded badges on the boot lid. (Logo above number plate and Union Jack) and it looks so much better. Sometimes the small details make a big difference

Started rubbing down my peeling clearcoat on the rear quarter panel.

And as the weather may not be great for long decided to go for the spraying too, so out with the rattle cans...not good in high winds but can't look worse than the white crackle effect.

If it polishes up alright I might brave the roof which is now more white than blue...

Well, I headed up to the MOT station this morning.........as I entered the village where the garage is, the odometer clocked over to.............123456 !!!!

The MOT tester took a photo of the speedometer, his words "just in case the DVSA question the input on the system"

I wandered off to have a coffee, and returned an hour later to find a fresh clean pass, and a comment from the tester that the car was exceptionally clean underneath for a car of it's age.

Next stop the Post Office, and a years worth of VED purchased before the ink was dry on the MOT, then an aimless cruise to savour the ambiance and simply enjoy the fruits of my labours.

Recoloured the leather bits on the steering wheel. Fiddly job but worthwhile as it was just starting to show some wear on the edges between the wood and the leather. Much better now! Got a bit high on the fumes!

I did the same on a light oak steering wheel I have for sale. Still needs more doing to reach perfection, but I'll pass the paint on to any new owner, 'cos I'm a lazy NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD-NAUGHTY WORD- these days...

Fitted replacement undertray, now with all 12 fixings as opposed the the 5 remaining on the old battered one! Not too bad a job working front to back, didn't even jack the car up.

While there noticed a humongous gouge out of my NSF nearly new kuhmo 😡😡😡 so had to get a replacement.

Gave the 75 a wash. Thought about polishing it but I couldn’t be bothered

Default Went to Pendine Sands

Took ‘Daisy’ out to Pendine Sands in Carmarthenshire to put some rubber on the famous seven-mile flats.
