Today I opened the front door, looked at my ZTT and thought “why am I not using it?”... then I remembered I’ve got a fractured metatarsal so I’ve got to use the e46 for another week or two...

Today's job was to replace the dead intank pump in my diesel, thankfully it decided to expire on the forecourt of a petrol station.. Filled the tank up to get me home, replaced the dead pump with a new insert and all is well in the world once again.
It is a horrible, stinky job though

And where did all this get in from? You mention sunroof and boot. Surely not boot, and will the sunroof tubes cause this?

Had a handbrake pin pull through last weekend. Got the full backplate kit from DMGRS and discs and pads from ebay. Spent a fair chunk of yesterday swapping both sides. Rear brakes now fully refurbished.

Started mine up for the first time in 2 weeks and just sat in the seat and soaked up the atmosphere. Going to shop for a treat or two for the car - any ideas?

What I did with my Rover 75/MG ZT today?
Quote:
No electrical issues at all, the boot can leak a huge amount of water in, before I sealed it I’d say roughly a quarter of a pint was pooling each day (following a heavy downpour) It wouldn’t take many days of rain to fill up the cabin! And yes, the sunroof drains are notorious bad for letting water in.

Plenum trouble,,, again!!!
Oh well, lots of rain recently and the cleanest of plenums have a knack of blocking up and just when you don’t need it, you get a full cut-out usually after a moderate braking before the traffic lights and you get that sinking feeling..!
So it was out with the ECU and immobiliser and a full strip, dry out and clean up! Now all sealed up, and replaced. Plenum clean once again and a rodding implement stowed in the engine bay for much more routine plenum hole clearing.!!! Wonder how many folk were caught out with engine cut-outs in the pouring rain and were told a new ECU was required for serious bucks,,,,WHEN CLEARLY IT WAS A RIP OFF!!!
