Default Matching a Rover paint code

As well as My 75 (daily car), I have a Metro/Rover 100, under restoration.
The paint code on this is JSA, Electric Blue. So far so good. It seems I can get aerosols, but I really want some brushing paint. At the moment I'm having a good tidy up of the car, it is is fairly good condition but has been standing a while. I'm actually stripping parts off the car, starting in the engine compartment, but not everything at once. Each part is being cleaned/serviced/repainted (usually black). But the base colour of the car is JSA Electric Blue, and it would be better if, having stripped an area of parts, I could clean this down and repaint it by brush (derust and primer as necessary of course). Is there any way I can get a matching brush paint, preferably at reasonable cost? Obviously, when I get 'outside' the car, that is a different matter!

Paints4U do tins but they're only 100ml and not cheap at £11.99. Have you tried a local body shop/painter?

It isn't aerosols that I want, they seem to be available (even if they have to be ordered). I'm thinking of a known code for the colour, which would be recognised somewhere, such as a 'proper' paint supplier (though I don't seem to have any fairly local), on even a diy store that could mix to that code. I suppose I could go for a touch up bottle (100ml) and paint a test strip to take in, but wondered if there was an easier way? As it isn't the outside of the vehicle I'm not worried about the brush finish.

As stevestrat says try Paints4u I would contact them because the do up to 4L tins as the term it industrial paint in a few different finishes including cellulose and would think they will mix any colour you require

You should have a local paint supplier who deals in either HMG or Tekaloyd coach enamel, or go online to such as Rawlins paint supplies or similar.

Coach enamel is like house paint with a similar ' wet ' time that allows the brush marks to flow out and keeping a wet edge, something that is very difficult, though not impossible, with such as cellulose or 2K paint.

Do you have any photos of your metro 100? What mark is it?

If you need any parts let me know as I’m also a metro owner

I don't suppose anybody has access to the relevant paint code? eg RAL, British Standard, etc?
