Stormy looking skies & muggy as anything again Lots of standing water around. I gave my older brother a load of tomato plants that were surplus to requirements earlier in the year & he called round this morning saying one of those "tomato" plants looks funny

It's a variety called 'Brads atomic grape' & has a dark marbled appearance turning reddish when ripe.

Morning Phil, I loved swimming but I've never swam in clear warm waters, It must be fantastic to see the reef up close.

Optician appointment this afternoon as these specs are not as sharp or clear as they once was.

And sometimes they get it right.

Said rain starting at 15:10. Got the washing in at 15:00 and wa hay.... it started to rain at 15:15.

Due to stop in 10 minutes and then dry until 17:00.

I'm not sure that I can stand the excitement .

Back from the opticians with an empty wallet My prescription had changed in my right eye so no wonder these specs weren't as sharp.
It's finally stopped raining with waterlogged gardens & flooded garage again It'd had dried up nicely over the past hot weeks & now back to square one & too top it off I've just broke the bleddy mop to mop out the water

Evening all, only a couple of showers today, managed to dodge them all thankfully, now looking blacker than a black thing overhead.

Morning all,

After the storms of yesterday we are blessed with sunshine this morning.

Long may it continue
