Just wanted to say I had a great couple of days at the Nano. My first time at any sort of meet and I've got to say I couldn't have felt more welcome.

Thanks to Arctic for sorting the fan resistor - I think this meet should have been renamed the 'Fano' with the number of fans being sorted out over the weekend!

I've now got myself a list of extra jobs to do following suggestions, including packing the wife off to a spa for a week, so I'd better get saving up!

And a big thanks to Rob for organising.

Thanks
Mike

Hi Mike.
Very nice to have meet you, those MGZT bumpers can be a problem sometimes with the double skin on the underside of the bumper all the fans sorted the weekend were diesel ones, i was surprised that no petrol fans needed sorted with the heat wave we had, August is also supposed to be an heat wave so all fans will be tested again soon, as we know we need the low speed to keep us cool it works in con junction with the A/C see you at the next meet hopefully

Once again a very big thank you to all the Nano Gang, a very enjoyable weekend. That "easy" task of replacing the door speakers would not have been so easy without the expert knowledge that was available - I would never have attempted to pull on the trim as hard as was necessary to remove it. Those additional rear tweeters really make a difference to the higher frequencies when sat in the front.

The journey back to deepest darkest Kent was interesting, on passing Duxford on the M11, 3 Spitfires were flying in formation at the air show - got a very good view from the motorway!
5 miles further on 2 big rain spots appeared on the windscreen, then 10 seconds later I could not see the end of the bonnet! At one point there was about 4 inches deep of surface water and additional water was flowing OUT of the drains - everyone was well behaved and slowed down to a crawl until we were out of the downpour.
One thing I did notice was the temperature change, 25 degrees when passing Duxford then down to 14 degrees in the middle of the rain !

Once again, thank you to everybody for a great weekend.

You should have carried on over the railway bridge and it was on the right hand side.

I have managed to secure another date at Teddybears on Sunday 3 October , has to be 1 day only as football is on every Saturday and the place is too busy to accommodate us then but 1 day is better than none at all so put the date in your diaries

Hi Rob.
Great you have managed another meet day from the club, that will most certainly be the last on in 2021, hopefully 2022 will be different for us and we can get back to our normal meet dates.

Pleased to see another meet.

Thanks for all the efforts that have been made to get something up and happening this year.

Sadly I won't be able to come along as it's our babysitting weekend.

Hope the weather holds out and it's a good one.

Roll on 2022
