Morning all, Water water everywhere & still raining albeit lightly I've been mopping out & manning the buckets since 7:00am this morning & now It's Wellies off & time for some brekkie. It's been raining steady all night & everywhere is swamped, There's two foot of water in the cavity under the hall/living room, One of the front lawns is slowly disappearing under water & the garage floor is three inch deep in water.

Mornin'. Lot of rain overnight, drying up at the moment but according to the forecast there's a high probability of showers all day.

Morning all.

Dry and bright at the moment but thunderstorms due to roll in later.

Had a chat with Rich for about half an hour. Sounds like he's getting there and is well supported. I'll post up a bit more in the dedicated thread.

Take care all.

Thank you Andy for updating us and it’s great to hear Richard is making progress in the right direction.

Rain took its time to appear but its lashing down now. Not as bad as through the west though, railway tunnel at Dalmuir, north of Glasgow.

Evening all, Gawd! what a day, The next two streets along have been closed off due to flooding, There are six houses there with water ingress above the skirting boards & the north west water board tankers have been coming & going all afternoon to pump out the water.
I've just about got the garage dry....ish again after spending the whole day bailing that out It's pretty much a lost cause these days whereas prior to the last 12 months it only flooded once every three years or so.

I've just managed to prise the missus debit card out of her little mitts & ordered a wet vac off the bay.

I was going to have a hot bath but I'm too knackered for that so I've opened a bottle of Henry's to null the back pain

Cool

Home from a fabulous day spent with my god daughter. Lovely roast chicken dinner. Tired so off to chase those fluffy clouds now.
Homeward bound tomorrow with just one passenger.

Morning peeps,

It's not a bad start to the day here in Broadland

Me by Jeff Cranwell, on Flickr

We had a lovely end to the day yesterday. Which was very welcome as it was wet and windy most of the afternoon

Morning all.

Overcast and damp here. Nothing like what's been happening in other parts of the country though.

Quizzie met a 3 year old black lab on her walk yesterday. What a pair of excited and generally loony dogs they were .

Take care
