Default Connecting a new radio

Hey yall
So the radio in my cars stopped working as a CD player so I thought i'd upgrade and get one with aux input aswell. Only thing is my electrical skills are nothing short of shabby but up for learning and having a crack at it. I have the VDO CD413x which looks like this behind:

and want to connect something like this:

Easy job?
Thanks in advance!

You'll probably need some things from here

https://www.dynamicsounds.co.uk/vehicles/Rover/75/2005

to ensure everything works. You'll need whatever matches your existing wiring and new stereo. Look at the vehicle compatibility and products details to figure it out. You may also need an aerial plug adapter, they're on page 2.

Have fun!

You need a new ISO loom connector for your new head unit as the existing one has been butchered. Your 75 uses standard ISO connectors which is a bonus as the only car-specific adaptor you'll require will be for the steering wheel controls, assuming your replacement HU is compatible.
