We're getting some heavy showers rolling through, I've got the wet vac on standby duties
Chilli con Carne with rice for tea tonight, I've been skinning tomatoes! I used a shedload of sweet sungold tomatoes from the greenhouse instead of a can of tinned tomatoes & it tastes bootiful if I say so meself

Just had a monsoon come through here as well

Only 17c as well, not really a summers day that's for sure!

Evening all, torrential rain this morning then by lunchtime it was sunny and 28C, so can’t complain about the weather. Had sad news from 2 families who are friends. A chap lost his wife 30 weeks pregnant to Covid, the baby could not be saved and another friend lost her son to Covid, a dad to 2 children, RIP

Morning all, It looks like an Autumn morning here! It's dark, dank & raining & the kitchen window is steamed up because I made soft boiled eggs.
