Default drivers door release cable

Would anyone happen to know where I can source an internal release cable for drivers door. Rimmers haven't any at moment nor does DMGR spares - and its a bit awkward for an old man having to wind window down and open from outside
Many Thanks in advance.

Hi Scott
Are you sure the cable as broken, it may well be the chocolate hook on the end of the cable that's crumbled, there is a fix for it.

1

You can crimp a ring onto it once the old toy metal hook as been removed.
2

You can also use a block, that as been stripped of it's outer coat.
3

4

Bit of copper wire or garden wire.
5

Put and twist the copper wire through the hole then pass both wires through the chock block, tighten up and it's fixed.
6

Another way is to purchase some hooks & eyes for lace curtain wires, some crimps screw the hook into the crimp and squash together put hook through the hole in the handle then close it up.

That is if it's the cable if not it could well be the white clip on the thread bar inside the door, you then have to get the door card off to repair it or adjust it.

You will see this once the door card is off.

Many thanks again Arctic. Didn't have any small hooks but used a metal curtain hook as used for holding curtains to rails and elec connector block. An afterthought was that I should have added superglue to threads of elec connector screws but too late as door card back on !!!!
