Morning all.

Bright here but not actually sunny. Dry and warm.

Quizzie met Bridget for the first time yesterday. She's a black lab and one of Guide Dogs brood bitches. They had a great time with the expected couple of spats about who's where in the group hierarchy. Fair play to Bridget she put her point across with gusto. And then, of course, they had a wonderful time exploring together and extracting treats from the humans .

Have a good one.

Morning, back again. My other half was off for a couple of days, doesn't like me "wasting time" on the laptop! Bit grey and cool here.

Can I ask you to have a look at what I've just posted and see if there's any advice you can give.

I've actually stopped the old one leaking! Finally persuaded it to come apart, very surprised to find there's no washer, "O" ring or anything. The core is slightly conical and its purely the interference fit that stops the water getting past. Solution, grease it before refitting, liberal amounts of grease then clean away the excess once it was all back together. Its drip free at the moment but the water level is only just above tap level, see what happens when there's a decent head of water in it.

Morning all, an early start and it’s 23C, so cant complain. The mechanics are visiting today to carry on with repairs, change the heater matrix etc,

We are doing more preparations for our forthcoming trip to the UK. Yesterday I had to buy some Android phones as one of the apps we have to use in Kenya for Covid monitoring and tracking does not work on iPhones which is what we have been using. I am finding the Android phone a Samsung, has a double sim feature which is handy for travelling

What’s everyone up to?

Wall to wall blue sky again today.

Off to the Cream Tea Run today with the CMGOC plus VIP guests.
