Morning all.

A bit grey and cool here.

Started a bit of checking over yesterday as we've a manic September with treble our usual visits up north along with a holiday trip into Bob's territory.

Thank goodness I chose a comfy car .

Morning. Dreich is the best word for today, grey, light drizzle.

Got the deep joy of pulling the Vax to bits to replace the brush bar drive belt later. Ease of maintenance didn't figure in the design.

Morning all, Overcast & breezy here, The ladders I wanted yesterday are out of stock so it was back on the search. Found these 5 step step ladders in Bolton for £20 like new, Bargain. I'm going over to pick them up this afternoon.

Needed a decent height ladder for getting up into the loft. There's a 2nd hand yard (house clearances etc) a couple of hundred yards along the road, got one in there.

Dunno if I'll be doing the hoover, been lumbered with cooking, already cut a big pork shoulder joint into 1" cubes (for adobo which Ging is taking to feed her colleagues at work), my wrists are nagging after that and I still have to chop a huge sweet potato into small cubes, that'll probably do for my wrists.

My old wooden step ladders gave up the ghost yesterday whilst trimming the trees, Will be happy with these at that price, They're £45 at Screw Direct.

Just had a Dear Customer scam email from "Royal Mail" I'm waiting on a package from Aliexpress China & the email said 'Couldn't deliver your package today as import duties not paid', Press proceed to continue, Ha! No chance, There is bad grammar/spelling mistakes in the email also.

That's the sweet potato chopped up and as predicted my wrists are now nagging like hell

Ran out of sunflower seeds for the birds a couple of days ago, waiting for a 20 kilo bag to be delivered. Now getting Blue T1ts etc looking in the window "Oi . . . . there's no food out here!". Might have to go out and get a temporary supply.

Cool

Just been informed that my neighbour has tested positive with Covid. She is in the home care industry, area manageress. A lot of the staff are self isolating.

Been invited over to the other neighbours for a wee drinkypoo this afternoon.

Begger! that's not good Steve, We eat a lot of sweet potatoes & I've looked into trying growing them but I cant find many people on the growers youtube channels that have had good success growing them here.
I'm taking it because there's not many videos on the subject that they'll be hard to grow in our climate

Got the ladders & they're basically brand new They're around 7' tall closed but fit in the MG ZS OK I'm glad I asked the missus to look on that Facebook market place after the ones I wanted were out of stock off ebay , It saved me over 30 quid.
Corned beef hash for tea & it smells bootiful if I say so meself.
Bleddy fruit flies! Missus bought some cherries from ASDA & they full of fruit flies, the cats are going nuts trying to catch them.
