Default Starter motor

Hi everyone, I went to start the car this morning ( it's a 2 litre diesel auto ) and I turned the key and nothing it was like trying to start in drive, couple more turns and the starter catches but not enough to turn the engine, couple more turns and nothing and finally a couple more turns and she fires up. The battery is in good condition so I'm guessing I'll need a replacement starter, any advice please and thanks as always

Deleted initial post, wrong repair kit! Probably the starter motor contacts rather than the starter motor itself.

There's a diesel starter motor repair kit on Ebay at the moment https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/203334593...IAAOSwj05gaDkL DMGRS stocks them as well.

check battery voltage as you crank engine, do the headlight flash as you try to start? if so its the battery, check small starter motor connection if all ok you can buy a starter repair kit which is easy to fit
