So, if the worst happens, you're off the beaten track, more difficult to find and take longer to find etc. And, apparently, that's safer. It also sort of links in to the introduction of a black box data logging you and alerting you if you're speeding. I'd bet that we can all find local roads that if you can hit the speed limit you're either incredibly talented, incredibly stupid or in a very bad place and need of a chat with the Samaritans.
