Temperature hit 27.5degrees yesterday. So getting jobs done early this morning.

Morning all

Today we are packing, doing our passenger locator forms for the airlines. At 5 o’clock a lab technician is visiting to carry out pre-flight Covid tests, nose and throat. Tomorrow we will receive the results, certified in order to be allowed into the airport and onto the plane.

WoW! It's a scorcher here today. Too hot out there for this Lancashire lad, I think I've fathomed out why the sparrows haven't been around the bird feeders for the last three days, I've come across a couple of bunches of feathers around the garden & yesterday & today a Sparrow Hawk has been circling above our garden,

There are a few pairs that nest on the roof of the nearby old cotton mill.

Quizzie went out early this morning (not early for Trikey or Stevestrat - a more civilised early

) and spent a great deal of time in the river.

I'm only up at five when Ging is dayshift. Taking the girls out is by no means a priority, for me or them! Oh great, daddy's going back to bed, everybody cuddle in 😁

Washed the covers off the three piece suite in the lounge, my hands and wrists are aching after the wrestling match getting them off and back on again.

Meg does the same Steve, when i get up early she pops downstairs then makes a hasty retreat back to bed when she realises its a work day.

The garden makeover has started with the moving of the recycling bin. I’m ever so grateful to Allen n Val for helping me, well they done most of the work.
