Default parking aid fault

Hi guys, another problem I hope you can help me with, my 2004 auto diesel saloon, when reverse is selected, sounder gives a constant noise for approx 15 seconds and reversing aid does not work.
checked them for ticking noise but offside one does not seem to work, checked continuity from white box in boot to sensor and cable appears to be o.k.
so I presume I have a faulty sender.
£35 from rimmers, anyone know of a cheaper option?
Thanks
Roy.

Would you happen to have one in Starlight silver MBB please?
One of mine has given up after a period of working intermittently.
Thanks in advance, Paul.
