Under bumper slinky
Quick question request...
Took my front bumper off for the first time to fix the headlight and discovered image below - could someone tell me what I need to reorder to replace the child's toy discovered? Also what does it do? looks like its been out of action a while [IMG][/IMG] Many thanks Kevin

That is/was the shannon tube, cold air feed, fixes by a venturi tube to the inner wing

Check for debris in the air box under the filter if the tube has disintegrated.

Kevin you will need 70mm for the 1.8 and 2.0 version engine the 190 engine is 80m if i remember right.

Thanks for the continued responses and advice.
Artic - I looked up a 'Shannon tube' and could only find one for £45 so your referral has really helped Roverbarmy - I'll look into this though in for an annual service soon so they may do this for me Also discovered no under engine cover - though have seen an ebay reference in a previous member message so may be buying this also. thanks again Kevin
