I had to get my pulley changed. I tried, unsuccessfully, to do it myself. I then took it to a Rover specialist in Pevensea who were unable to do it. Eventually, I found a garage in Eastbourne, South Coast Garage Services who specialise in BMW and Landrover group vehicles. They did the job for a fair price using an induction coil and loads of grunt.

To be precise there are two timing chains.
Yes worth replacing both auxiliary belts when changing the pulley, and use decent branded belts - Gates come well recommended. |
