Default Personal touches that makes your car special

Hi.
When I make the effort to join in some of the meets we have, I enjoy looking at all the personal touches that fellow members do to there cars. Whether it be some simple chrome add on,s to something that's "full on ".
Some things do look over the top but its still good to see all the different ideas out there.
One thing that really caught my eye was a midnight blue 75 at the Leyland national meet last Sunday.
I didn't get chance to speak to the owner but he had got some chrome letters spelling out rover and fixed them to the top part of the chrome grill.
Just a small bit of personalisation but it looked fantastic and very. classy. ( suffice to say I've copied him )
Flying banana cushions also look great to,sitting on the back window for all to see.
I also have some heko wind deflectors which look great.
In side I have fitted Simons walnut trim kit to the window switches and centre consul as well as the interior lights.
As nice as it is , it does feel a little overpowering especially on the centre consul. I think its because mine only has the basic radio fitted which leaves a relatively large blank space of walnut. After viewing a youtube clip of another members car I noticed he had used self adhesive chrome piping to the interior lights and switches. This inspired me to do mine and the centre consul now looks so much better now the walnut trim as broken into smaller sections.
On the blank space below the radio I have attached a rover door torpedo badge which finishes it off nicely ( not to everybody's taste I know )
Its all down to individual preference as to whether you like it or loath it but please share what you have done to your cars .
It would be great to have some more ideas :-) :-)
Johnny

Most of the bits I make and sell were originally done for my own cars, I could put a load of pics up if folks want to see them but I do not want to be accused of hijacking a thread for advertising....

By all means Pete. I would love to see all your handy work.
I know you have some real imagination when it comes to car styling

A lot of things (but by no means all) of the things I have tried....

perhaps an inspiration to a few of the endless different things you can do to make your car "yours"
and no, 2 years ago I did not know how to do ANY of this... have a go yourself...
