Thumbs up Suddenly there's a plethora ..... 1.8t Coolant Hoses and PRTs.

All very strange, suddenly there's a plethora of 1.8t complete cooling hose and PRT assemblies on ebay including some without the the PRT.

Puzzling this sudden flood onto the market. Individual hoses are very expensive from dealers so anyone wanting to keep their nice example of a 1.8t 75 or ZT for a lot longer would do well to grab one of these whilst they can. At these prices, could sell out like the proverbial Hot Cakes.

These are a few of the ebay listings for anyone interested. Item Nos. :~

172556502198 [ More than ten available ... ]

311813972987 [ Without PRT ... ]

131969133257 { 2 Available, 5 sold ..... ]

I've bought a couple.

Clearly to attract punters away from the new silicone version.

They are all PRT hoses. My 1.8T does not have the T piece set up at the top. Will keep searching.

It makes me wonder why the silicone hose manufacturer actually bothered? From what I've read, producing a new set of hoses is not something you'd enter into lightly. But I guess the price reflects it to some extent, but they still need to sell quite a few.
