Cool A really useful Gizmo

With those big 18" MG ZT Alloy Wheels I always struggle to align the Bolt Holes in the wheels with their Bolt Locations in the hub particularly in poor light or in the dark. This GIZMO alignment tool ( £5.99p posted off ebay ~ listed for AUDIs but fits 75/ZTs just fine ) makes that bicep sapping task a doddle even working at ground level as most DIYers like me have to do.
Got it a couple of weeks ago and used it for the first time last week. Should have got one years ago.

A pretty long thread on these a couple of weeks ago don't pay to much notice on the vehicle listing as long as the thread is correct you will be OK.

In the mid eighties I was running an Audi coupe, and in the tool kit with a very substantial Jack were two mounting studs for replacing wheels onto the hubs. It's something I've remade many times ,better than struggling

I made one a few years back out of a long bolt, I just cut the head off but I machined it to a chromed finish.
Used it just a couple of weeks back when fitting the wheels back onto my project car.

Want to change a smokey turbocharger. Frustrating as cannot do much outside in current conditions. Must be patient..[/QUOTE]

Have a couple of small welding jobs to be doing when the weather warms up a bit John not forgotten the offer.
