Spotted this on ebay today. Would bid if it was not so far away. :~

Rover mg zt 1.8 turbo spares or repair

Has to be one of the most honest descriptions I've seen for a 1.8T MG ZT or, any spares or repair car come to that.

Very smart indeed and an engine I’ve enjoyed for 5 years already.
I recovered a VW Polo in December using my A frame but I’m not sure this one would be within my cars towing capacity.

Looks nice; already a bid at £200 with several days to go, so I think there will be competition.

Default Towing!

Can I just throw a spanner in the works with regard to towing with an A-Frame?!
Most A-Frames are unbraked, therefore the most you can tow is 750kg, the lightest 75 is 1200kg, the heaviest roughly is roughly 1600kg.....

A diesel 75 has the highest towing capacity at 1600kg, add that to a twin axle trailer that would be needed to carry a 75 and you are way over the limits and capacities.........you need a different tow car!

So...... if you are going to tow a 75 with a 75, keep your eyes open for VOSA and the police as they can and probably will impound both vehicles.
And before anyones ask, yes, I have done it a couple of times before I was aware or the law and the rules!

I thought all A frames were unbraked? Trailers are both braked and unbraked depending on design.
Pulling the VW Polo a month ago was without incident. You don't feel the weight of a trailer as the 4 wheels carry that for you along with dampers to stop the bounce. Like MG John said, just concentrate and drive like you are taking your driving test again. I kept away from main roads and enjoyed the country route pre motorway!!!
