Default ZTT tailgate wiper

Quick question folks.
Should the tourer tailgate wiper move freely by hand when the tailgate glass is opened separately from the tailgate?
Many thanks

Yes, I think that is perfectly normal, both my tourer and ZT-T are like that.
Hope that helps, Paul.

Thanks lads

Problem I had was that the wiper decided to stop half way through its cycle, in the vertical position
I couldn’t easily move the wiper arm when the glass was opened.
Just stripped the glass side mechanism down and it was nearly seized so, motor wasn’t powerful enough to move it
Cleaned, de rusted and greased.......all is well now.
Guess it was just 16 years worth of road grime and salt that caused it to seize

Yes. It would be a problem if it didn't. The motor is in the tailgate itself and engages the rear wiper only when the tailgate glass is shut.
