I am pretty sure a year 2000 diesel is not OBD compliant - but Diesel owners will no doubt advise. I think they became compliant from 2002 onwards.
The 2000 petrol engines are OBD compliant.

Not much better than Toaf: freeware, easy to use & transportable on any Windows laptop - https://toaf.roverki.eu/index.php/en/
You'll also need a VW KKL cable with pins 7 & 8 soldered together, or ready to use: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/174768878...cAAOSwvpNgnqIB Regards |

1. Use only in read mode, don't attempt to write if you are unsure. 2. Back-up modules before making changes. I just wish the T4 were as simple to use as Toaf, and had the ability to back-up modules (perhaps there is?). My T4 is now mobile but still requires 240v, Toaf only needs a simple laptop. Regards |
