Default They're back

It seems only a short time ago (although it's probably a year in reality) that I evicted a family of mice from behind the bonnet soundproofing on my V6 and replaced the part because they'd nibbled the backing off of it to build a nest.

Yesterday, having only left the car unused for three days, I've discovered that they've moved back in along with a tasty selection of nuts and seeds to keep them going.

Anyone got any suggestions how I can discourage them? The cat that lives in the exhaust doesn't seem to be interested.

The old fashioned mouse trap is very effective with a lump of cheese in it. Cost practically nothing.

Cheese is pointless, Nutella with a few seeds stuck in it or the best thing is to find what they are actually feeding on.

When I was helping my taxi business mate out he had a new Fiat Ducato minibus. It didn't get used a lot and spent a lot of time parked next to the office leased from the local golf club. He started having bother with wee electrical glitches so he got on to the dealer. Took it in and was somewhat red faced when he was told rats or mice had been at the wiring!

Angry They're Back

When I lived in rural Cornwall we had the little beggars moving in each winter, a bit of chocolate on a mousetrap is lethal for the little barstewards
