Rover 75 2.5 auto
Hi i don't know if this came up before but just in case it hasn't i hope it helps. the other day went to pull way when there was no drive in the gearbox, the engine was running OK but i wasn't getting anywhere i noticed that there was no light in the gear indicator nor was there and indication on the dash as to what gear i was in. well i was thing how much for a new gearbox and things like that. turns out it was a blown fuse in the engine compartment fuse box F6 15 amp. it was the one indicated as a fuse for the reversing lights. all's OK now but i always wonder why fuses blow and when replaced seem OK.

This could well be an important post for someone. Now how to give it a heading that says something useful for a future search?
What about "Automatic, no drive, blown fuse"
