Can you measure the outer diameter of the tyre please. Need to check if compatible with my 260.
Thanks

I have one from a 75 FWD. You will only be able to use it for a specific axel (can not remember if it is front or rear but "dish" part (or whatever the correct term is) of the space saver is unable to accommodate the size of brake caliper.

i think the rear axle is the only one it can be used on. apart from the dished inner being too shallow i think its only lawful to use on the rears of any car. you have to put the space saver on the rear even if you have to swop the wheels over. no doubt i will be corrected if im wrong . ...

Default Answering Steve's question

Hi Steve,

Thanks for your interest in my space saver wheel. I can confirm the tyre spec as T 125/90 R 16 98 M

I am giving this away free but you may wish to price up a new tyre as this one may well be the original supplied from the factory in 1999 (I'm just guessing from the 98 at the end of the code).

I have measured the outer tyre diameter as approximately 24 and 3/4 Inches or 63cm. It is designed to fit in the standard wheel well of a Mk 1 Rover 75 2.5V6 Saloon. I'm not sure with regards a 260 ZT.

I hope this helps.

Best regards,
Gavin

Smallest wheel size that will fit a 260 is 17”.

I have the same problem with my SAAB 93 Aero, the space saver spare wheel only fits on the rear, as front brakes are too large for it to fit over.
So a front tyre puncture means fitting the space saver to the rear and then fitting the full size rear to the front.
Would not want to put 210BHP through a skinny space saver anyway.
