Afternoon all.

Back home from our weekend up North.

Popped over to see Rich, who, I'm very pleased to say, is looking good. .

Sounds like the weather everywhere is all over the place. Still just about dry here, but the wind has a nasty edge to it and due to throw it down soon.

Take care everyone.

So so day here. Bright and sunny but by no means warm. According to BBC weather high probability of rain. Just set a cauldron of veggie soup going for Ging to take to work along with her smoothies.

Must keep her who must be obeyed, nice and warm

My wife asked for a animal skin coat to keep her warm

I bought her a Donkey Jacket

Its a "what ever veg I can find in the shed thrown in a pan with some chicken cubes, herbs, spices etc cooked then blended" broth!

Just as I was blitzing the soup with the hand blender what I assume was an almighty, isolated, clap of thunder rattled the house, really rattled the house, girls went mental. I had a look out the front and there was a huge black cloud with associated heavy rain squall working its was along the northern edge of the Forth. Presume that's where the thunder originated.

Cool

Horrendous conditions down here. Horizontal rain and gale force winds. Dustbin went walk about, now stored in the garage. Lots of plants have been flattened.
Hail stones as well, and it’s turned a tad chilly.

Chilli con carne with mash and spinach for tea.
