Good morning all,
Today is my last day on antibiotics. Still on pain medication and the leg is less swollen with fluid buildup. Improvements every day. The Premier Inn we are staying in, still has no bar or restaurant working and tomorrow we are changing rooms with the help of the housekeepers. Apparently the hotel doesn’t like anyone to stay in the same room longer than 9 nights. Head of House Keeping has told us how the room we are going to move into will have brand new beds and brand new mattresses, ahhh something to look forward to. Then next week practice walking and practice walking stairs. |

Evening all, It's been a nice bright day albeit cold. Heatings on full blast again now the temps are dropping again & the cats are snuggled on the bed behind me next to the radiator, Looks like another frosty one on the cards again by tomorrow morning.
I made a plate steak pie & fresh loaf this afternoon for tea tonight with a few chips Good to hear of your progress Phil Beautiful pic of the MGB Jeff.

Good morning Andy, what a fabulous experience you had with the fans, a long drive for you.
Stunning photos Jeff, hopefully your client was pleased with the results. To me they are flawless. Remember Rod? Yesterday I was chatting with him since he openly talked about his diagnosis of Parkinson’s Disease being the reason why he is no longer able to visit the owners club. Rob is now on new medication which has prevented the disease from progressing any further. Whilst it is not a cure it is making life easier for him. His wife Angela is going into hospital this week for a hip replacement and hopefully their family will support Rod and Angela through this difficult time. I have been up this morning taking pain medication and doing a bit of walking. Chat later. |
