Post hair do pic as promised, taken when she was starting to come down from her daft turn! Debs always puts the silly "scarf" on them

Trains didn't start running again til yesterday afternoon. She decided to stay and help her friends and another Filipino couple there clean up, coming home at the weekend.

That's good of her, the village i was working in today has been hit,the bridge in the next town along the river, which had been closed for 18 months, just re opened on Thursday last week after a £4m refurb, closed again two days later, due to suspected flood damage to the foundations.
The road that runs along side the north side of the river linking two villages, has been closed to traffic due to a large crack appearing in it,and another road further east, again that runs along the north side of the river has also been closed for the same reason. I took a walk along the closed road tonight and you can see the hedge on the north side of the road, which is normally about 5 ft high, has been flattened, there is a layer of sand and silt all over the road, and several piles of debris that have been swept away, have become lodged up against trees, these piles are over 6ft up,I am 6ft2,and they were higher than me, Shows how high the water level was.
