Smile "A" pillar cover - tourer CDTi

Hello group, I am attempting to fit a DAB aerial on the N/S front wind screen. As I need a earth plane attached to any body metal parts, I intended to take of the "A" panel trim only to find what I think is an air bag. with this cover removed would be ideal to earth the aerial and drop the aerial leads down, under the dash to the radio. is it safe to remove this cover or NOT?

Leslie.

If you have an A pillar airbag, it will be written on the trim, in which case you need to disconnect the battery for 30 mins before attempting to remove it.
