WE'RE safe, of course, its THE OTHER drivers who have to be alert .

Not surprised most drivers are in the 50+ bracket. I feel the survey would have been more useful had this section been split 50 to 59; 60 to 69; 70 to 79; 80+ (I'm about to enter the third group here).

I'm only 48 - but what hair I have remaining is now a fine shade of natural grey so Mrs Dave says I shouldn't worry about being apparently slightly too young to drive a 75 as I look the right age.......

Yes, yes i realised after the post...

To busy justifying my car at this age to check my grammar!

I think if more younger people drove cars like ours the road would be a much better looking place.

I am 34. I have only ever driven Rovers. I am part of the Rover Sports Register and my bicycle is a 1918 Rover fixed gear. The family has a collection of Rover bikes, motorbikes and cars. In my case I chose to move up to the 75 from the 25 so that I would have more space for the dog (who has been much happier). I have no plans to drive anything other than Rovers until I can afford an MGB (although I'd still need a Rover for daily driving).

I've done the poll. Took the liberty of assuming it was referring to physical not mental age.

Just taken part. I get free prescriptions now but no bus pass for a while yet.
I like the comfort of the ride in my 75. No need for nippy, sporty types anymore.
By the way, how do I 'like' other posts?
