In the years I have attended PoL MG have had a presence at the event and always welcome visitors across at the sales centre. It's an excellent PR opportunity that even they aren't too dumb to pass up on.

Point was for MG to sponsor/ fund facilities at the POL, and yes they do have a selection of cars etc and sales staff available. However with the redevelopment of the site and nothing other than repairs of chinese built MG's happening there they are not interested in the history of Longbridge which is what the POL is all about.

Not so uncommon here amongst some unsavoury drivers who then dispose of the containers roadside. Often refered to as 'driver tizer'.

Oh really? I do believe you. However, I bought these on Amazon and could never imagine throwing them out of the window. What a waste of money, buying something like that, only to throw away and then for someone to have to remove them from wherever.

Sorry I did not explain properly these folk don't go to the expense of a purpose made container normally just an old drinks bottle. A disgusting habit that makes me feel sick, especially when you consider somebody has to clear these things up.
