Bought mine at 60, now 65 but don't consider myself to be in the pipe & slippers brigade.

Regards

Paul

Wink

I'd got my first Rover (214Gsi, sorry! My parents car) when 45.
I bought my second (a 25, sorry again, but my wife broke the 214...) when 62.
Finally My 75 when 64, last year.
But I wish I'd bought the latter far much sooner, sorry for the last time!

Wasn't there a joke at the time that when Rover launched the 25, 45 and 75 that they were the target ages of the buyers

Was 35 when I got Tarquin, and always wanted my first car to be a Rover.

Old man's car? It's just another form of badge snobbery that I detest.

underneath is rusty as the fourth bridge
but i bought a clay bar today,it shines lovely,£90 to fill it up that lasts 5 mins

I read up on 75's for almost 12 mths before I bought one. I was 60 then, wanted a little comfort in my 'old age' Had to be a diesel 'cos they're cheap to run. I'm 65 next week, I think the current car is my 4th 75. Still enjoying the comfort (and the economy) but it's getting harder each year to climb in and out of it.

I am 59 now, Got mine when I was 57.

Yep, it's an old man's car, my wife doesn't like it for that very reason.

I think it's because of the old style interior, walnut, leather etc, not exactly trendy is it?

The only issue for an old man's car is it's quite low to get in and out of.
