Default cimarron green rovers and the question of usage or not!!

I own a Rover 75 Tourer SE CDTI Automatic 2004 54 Plater, and did not realize at the time only 161 of these were ever built in that colour and all but 19 were black leather interior but 19 were in sandstone, i have one of these, and i mothballed her in jan 2017 on just 69,000 miles, it gets a regular start up and placed in that fuel stabilizer and kept in a warm heated garage.

I am thinking of using her next year as a daily driver, but then on the other hand nice to keep it hardly untouched type of thinking? there cant be many cimarrons left in service now, mostly firefrost, and silvers, that's all you ever see in R75 now mark twos, and MG ZTs only in silver or ignition blue, or black....

whats your thoughts ? and use a fully fit R75 Tourer auto connie SE in absolute mint condition or keep her stored, shes parked right next door to my favorite one olde faithful (hence the name) ive had SINCE BRAND NEW with 312000 miles on it, shes a keeper as i have had that one from brand new.

not sure to use the cimarron green or not?>???

Use it, why keep it locked up in a garage?

Sounds like a lovely car, but if you're not going to drive it, what's the point.

I would also say use it, afterall, it's what the car was made for .

My Lagoon is number 4 of only 6 Rover 75 saloons built in that colour, and the only RHD 2.0 V6 and I strive to keep her as mint as possible. As such, she's quite a rare example and it's very tempting to keep her mothballed for the future, but what exactly would I be saving her for? If I'm not going to drive her now, then I'm hardly likely to start in, say, 10 yrs time when she'll no doubt be even more rare .

Far better to enjoy the car now while I can, whilst at the same time doing whatever possible to maintain her in her current condition.

As others have said, cars were built to be driven. Just my opinion of course - you really should do whatever gives you personally the most satisfaction .

I have a Cimarron green saloon with sandstone and walnut dash, I really don't like driving it as a daily car because I don't want to rack up the miles. I would much prefer to have it as a sunday best car, that is what it was when first purchased by me and this is my intention to return it to this status.

If you have another car to use i'd say keep the Cimarron as a sunday best and enjoy it.

There are a few great colours, all involve sandstone and walnut.

I have a Cimarron green 05 classic sitting outside. Manual ac, cloth trim, steel wheels with trims and black mirrors. Registered 7 days before Longbridge closed.
