Advice Please
Coming home from work today approx 75mph turned onto slip road approx 50 meters long i normally just release pedal and let it slow down on its own .
Applied brake a little into second to go around the roundabout (third exit) the only description i can give is that as i applied the fuel pedal for speed it hesitated as if ,,,if i pushed the pedal further it was flooding it....I kept the pedal where it was then when i excited the roundabout applied for more fuel picked up and shot off.I drove for approx 20 mins at different speeds and hard or soft acceleration and nothing ? Anything to worry about or maybe one of those unexplained thingys....

Complete loss of power, then suddenly back - usually suggests an electrical issue. Check out essential electrical connections, like ignition circuits etc..

A late 2001 v6. Were you going around fairly fast, g-force wise? How about fuel surging to the left on the roundabout? I can imagine a tank - maybe on the low side - surging fuel away from the pump and causing a momentary loss of power. When the car straightens up the fuel supply recovers. Now this won't happen in normal circumstances, but a tank with a slackening fuel filter could. The reasoning is that during FFS, the fuel tends to disproportionate to the left half of the tank, leaving the pump in the right half with a potentially dry inlet. It typically prevents the engine from starting, but could under the right conditions, produce a power loss event. If you don't have an orange clip, fit one. If you already have one, ignore the above and go to start.
