Default Door Mirrors

Do the mirrors fitted onto the doors come in two sizes ??

As I need one and the one I had as a spare seems to be larger than the original..

Yes, bullets (on earlier cars) and skull caps. Bullet type ones are bigger and errm more bullet shaped lol. Not sure when the change was though.

Thanks for the reply,
But I now have a puzzle,I have chrome bullets fitted and the mirror is smaller than the skull cap mirror which I have as a spare.

If I understand correctly you are saying the Bullets are bigger than the Skull caps.
Is that correct ?

John

The bullets are physically bigger and much deeper than the skull caps,
but the actual mirror, itself, is smaller on the bullets.

Buy another skull cap mirror for the other side, they are much better as a mirror than bullets

Aesthetics aside, what is more important, being able to see what is behind you

Well yes I understand what you are saying,But any mirror skull cap or bullet are few and far between over here and as it is the passenger side (Offside here) I need one to see what is coming,Not that there is much traffic anyway.
