I have picked up the odd size spanners at car boot sales for peanuts.

A comprehensive tool kit costs quite a bit. Even socket extension bars in different lengths adds to the complexity of a tool kit.

I'd hate to have to start from scratch

Most 190 Calipers I have seen are Silver.

Guess it depends who the OE manufacturer was, in this case its ATE for mine, and all the ATE 260 ones Ive seen have been silver.

Not only that, Premium silver matches the Geomet anti corrosive coating on the brake discs.
