I thought things like that only happened to me

Evening all,

Meant to be at Camera Club tonight but haven't got the energy!
At the nursing home now and shall have an early night when home.

Got to be up bright and early for the bacon baguette in the morning

Why not stay at the nursing home? I'm sure you'd qualify.

Evening all, It's been raining with heavy showers barrelling through all day,

I nipped to Aldi after the doggy doo's paddle at Bolton to get a few bits & bats, Lancy black pudding among other things and ended up skint I'm brassic again 45 quid in petrol ....roll on when I get me EV and I bought this https://www.aldi.co.uk/workzone-18v-...79027166616800 because one of the metal prongs has gone missing from my old one that charges it it was getting long in the tooth anyway.

This one is a cracker and way more user/job friendly. It's very powerful for it's size too.

That sounds proper tasty does that Steve. I've not had kebab meat for a long time, We used to overnight at one place in Birmingham regular when I was tramping on the trucks, the local chippy there was run by an Indian guy and his kebabs were good, half chicken & half kebab meat, the chips were dipped in a seasoning before frying & they came out orange but boy were they good.

We're having Shin of beef in rich ale gravy (another favorite nosh from Aldi, It's really good) with new spuds peas & sweetcorn.

All the happiness that used to be

Soon my eyes will close
Soon I'll find repose
And in dreams, you're always near to me

I'll see you in my dreams
And then I'll hold you in my dreams

We had the shin of beef a couple of weeks ago Ian with mash and it was the dog's danglies (so to speak). Instead of putting it in the oven as recommended, I cooked it on the hob in a pan, took about 10 minutes.... Delicious .

Morning all, it's wet and miserable here but not to worry, it's the weekend and plenty of sport to look forward too. International rugby and Formula One are just two for starters . I may even knock up a large pan of lamb broth .
