Default CD Player Question

Does anyone know if the CD player/changer (Harmony version, I think) will read a dual layer DVD?

I would say definitely not. If your changer doesn't have a label proclaiming it to be DVD-compatible you are out of luck. CD:s and DVD:s require different pickup systems for one thing.

It may have a label, I don't know - it's installed in the glove box and I didn't want to uninstall it to look for a label.

If there is one (and I doubt there is) you would find it next to, or more probably, instead of, the "Compact Disc Digital Audio" logo on the front. If you want to use DVD:s (either for DVD video or to store mp3 files) you will need a sgnificant upgrade to your ICE system.

There are no labels that I can see on the front of the unit - just the CD logo, so you're almost certain to be right, it's CD-only.

It won't read any DVDs period, later ones (much later) could do MP3 but it will be plastered all over the front panel if it can
