Default Ipod interfaces instead of the CD changer

I am confused

This thing
http://www.diceelectronics.com/ipod_integration.htm

Is that an alternative to the Denison Ice Link?
http://www.dension.com/main.htm

as it seems to suggest it can also be used as an add on if so what's the point in doing that?

From what I can see the Dice is another Icelink plus type interface.
Looks like its been designed by some people who left Denison, or it may be from the guy who originally designed the Icelink system.
and a new distributor has gained rights to it.

It's a straight pin for pin plugin replacement for the Icelink, if you have one installed !

HOWEVER seems to be buggy like the Icelink, many problems/ complaints reported on x5world.

Contacted http://www.europeanautosource.com for more info.
They replied to my first email, but supplied me with some doubtful information.
When I queried it they never replied to my emails !
What a surprise... just like Denison and their distributors, who never replied to emails.

On a more positive side my Icelink Plus is performing very well on the upgraded system... MKIV(V28), 16:9, BM24.

No funny glitches like I had on MK3 Rover system.
Only minor comment is the track text sometimes changes size, no big problem as it is still easily readable.
In many ways the operation is very much improved.
