Originally bought the adaptor to install my Parrot Bluetooth system.
From searching about the web I found there was supposed to be a BMW type connector behind the centre dash.

Got the adaptor before stripping the centre dash....... big mistake !
When I pulled it all out found standard ISO connectors down behind the nearside cup holder.
Did not look any further for BMW type connectors.... The Parrot system plugged straight into the ISO's

As You say the BMW adaptor I got could be universally used.

Been delayed again in checking out the IBus and Diagnostic communications.
