He has posted an edit,he's in his 70s and not that good with computers. Perhaps if he was politely encouraged to give more information, and offered help, with posting photos ,he may be more inclined to respond.

Hi.
A difficult one. Personally I would say NO new member even after paying subs should be allowed to sell a car then never be seen again!
We are about preserving our cars. Someone that makes a fleeting appearance could be selling a bag of worms for all we know. So id be inclined to say that members should be making twenty posts that are proper car related ones and be a member for at least a couple of months, that would weed out those that join to dispose of an unwanted vehicle.

They're going to get rid of the car regardless. Personally I would rather see them advertised here and give an enthusiast the opportunity to save it/cherish it for longer than it going on ebay and risk scrapping/breaking for parts etc.

Good luck with sale Wall, I'm sure the car is a cracker.

It's no guarantee that if you buy a car from a long standing forum member it won't be a "bag of worms".

And indeed it does look a cracker. I am not on the lookout for another car. I am not. No siree. No way.

Do that and no 'out of the fold' cars & parts will be posted for sale.

Incidentally my earlier comments were not specifically aimed at the OP, I was just expressing my feelings regarding ones that come and go for one reason.
They "must" know about us to advertise, why not join and be active then being quite honest you may have a better chance of a sale here anyway.

How many of us see 1 post then dismiss the vehicle?
