One of these for the shed, or garden perimeter would do the job Rav, coupled with outside CCTV so you could watch the barsteward sh1t themselves over and over again.

They do work, we had one connected to a sliding driveway gate.Of course I forget to disconnect it more than one morning. Doubt they are available in the UK unfortunately. Uses a .22 cartridge from an old Hilti gun.

Also prickly/thorny bushes in front of ground floor windows.
I can hear or gravel being walked or driven over but may not hear the car.
