UK car insurance is a nightmare
2015 I was insured with Adrian Flux, then come renewal time they quote me stupid prices.
So 2016 the Co-Op were the best alternative so I used them, now renewal time for 2017 they also quote me an outrageous price. Yes, guess who comes in the cheapest this year............... Adrian Flux |

It's ridiculous isn't it?
I argued with our broker at renewal, they wanted huge sums. Went elsewhere for a year, and like you, got lured back with a quote that was exactly a third of the previous year's renewal. They're eejits. |

Its because they want your 'risk' one year to help balance the risk, then the next year they don't so offer a much higher price. HTH

Hastings will insure me on my 75 at my flat but won't insure it at my dads house which is in a better area and post code than my flat. My dad has his jeep insured with Hastings lol, figure that one out!? I'm moving back to my dads to save for a mortgage so will be insured at his address.

I hate the insurance industry with a passion, especially car insurance. You prove year on year you are a safe driver ( so you are not a risk), make no claims, your asset (the car) reduces in value each year yet they want MORE money year on year. It doesn't add up. Hate them.

Yup although I'll give my taxi insurance company there due, my insurance for my first year ever having it they were the cheapest by a mile, then renewal they were the cheapest again.
