Default Been for my interview for the Army :)

Good afternoon all how's everybody doing.
Been for my interview with the Army and have too say really well a lot better then I hoped for.

I brought everything I had and I mean the lot, Might have been a little too much, but saying that he liked the fact that I was fully prepared and with information with regarding from my own words.

I think impressed him without coming across as a know it all.

The way we talking you'd swear we were like friends meeting at a pub for a few.

I'm now on the next stage which is Richfield for the Army Assessment If I complete that then I'm good too go for my phase 1 army training.

Will have too lose a few pounds tho as I got weight I've been bulking up too put more muscle mass on my body, how ever its a no for the army as I've got too be under 88KG at the moment I'm 90 KG dead.

I need too cut down on my food I have day I think 4 meals a day too much, I don't feel fat tho that's the thing.

Still I'll lose it if it gets me in hell yeah.

You will be going to Lichfield not Richfield, and well done on first stage, try and get the weight down, to the required standard, and remember that when you do start basic training you will very quickly loose the weight and become exceptional fit, I can guarantee you that, and take note of what they tell you and take it in, and don't be influenced by your peers, do as you are told, and stand out as an individual, you are going to find it very tough to start with, but will soon get into the way things are done and you will then start to enjoy it, and it gets easier but they need to whittle out the wheat from the chaff during the first 10 weeks.

When I did basic training back in 1976, it was hard, but got better after the first 10 weeks, and that is when you will start to learn how to be a valued team member with a fantastic way of life, I ended up doing just short of 23 years, and enjoyed it immensely.

you are going to enjoy it, so make the most of the opportunities that will come your way, and good luck for the future

Stu

Dave

Good stuff.

Cut out the booze altogether for a couple of weeks, do everything else exactly the same, stand on a scale, be prepared to be surprised.

Best of luck, never give up. I did many moons ago and have regretted it ever since.
